FutureMed Global is built on the experience of a highly skilled team with decades of combined expertise across patient care, operating theatres, medical device sales, clinical support, and business leadership. Our team has worked alongside surgeons, nurses, and procurement teams in specialties including gynaecology, urology, general surgery, spine, GI, orthopaedics, cardiology, and anaesthesia.

From frontline healthcare and clinical training to senior leadership in sales, marketing, and product development, our people bring practical insight and commercial expertise to every project. We have supported complex theatre installations, introduced breakthrough technologies, and guided hospitals through procurement and adoption of new devices.

With representation across every Australian state and a partnership network that extends into New Zealand through Emech Medical, FutureMed Global combines local presence with international experience. Together, we are committed to delivering innovative technologies, strong clinical support, and reliable customer service to meet the evolving needs of modern healthcare.

Sasha Fichera

Managing Director

Sasha brings over 17 years of experience across patient care, medical devices, and business leadership. She began her career in frontline healthcare before moving into the medical device industry, where she gained expertise in respiratory care, sleep medicine, oncology, surgical devices, infusion therapy, and IV systems.

Her career spans senior roles in sales, product management, and clinical support, as well as executive leadership positions in sales and marketing. Sasha later founded FutureMed Global, where she has led the introduction of innovative medical technologies into Australia and the Asia-Pacific market. In addition, she has successfully launched and scaled businesses in both healthcare and e-commerce, with experience in international markets across Australia, Hong Kong, the USA, and China.

With proven success in strategic sales, business development, and digital marketing, Sasha has negotiated distribution agreements, driven product launches in complex medical markets, and built strong partnerships with hospitals, surgeons, and procurement teams. Her experience combines clinical knowledge, commercial acumen, and entrepreneurial leadership, positioning her to guide FutureMed Global in delivering the latest healthcare innovations to clinicians and patients.

Andreas Roeske

WA

Andreas has 23 years experience in the medical devices industry, both in global and domestic markets. Roles included Territory Sales, Business Development, State Sales Manager, International Sales Manager, National Sales Manager and General Manager.

Andreas worked in the Cardiology field with Biotronik, Anaesthesia with Aspect Medical Systems, Infusion Therapy with B. Braun, Patient Monitoring with Philips, and General Surgery, Upper/Lower GI, Urology and Gynaecology with Olympus.

Andreas is familiar with selling capital equipment, consumables, and services, to all customer stakeholder levels.

Ricaarne (Ricci) Stanley

SA

Ricci brings over 25 years of sales experience to the Future Medical team, garnered from diverse industries spanning both Australia and the UK. Her sales roles have encompassed business development, account management, and sales management, culminating in her recent entry into the medical field, focussing on dental and gynaecology markets. Additionally, she has played a pivotal role in providing medical device support during operating room procedures, specifically in foot and ankle surgeries.

Ricci's passion for building meaningful client relationships is evident in her dedication to learning new skills and products, ensuring she delivers personalised solutions and unparalleled service. Her track record of excellence and commitment to exceeding expectations make her an invaluable asset to the Future Medical team.

Nick (Nicholas) F Capper

VIC

Nick is the CEO Trans-Pacific Healthcare – commissioned agent as well as importer and distributor of medical devices. Over 30 years of experience in the introduction and marketing of new medical devices into Australia. Previously commissioned agent for Medtronic (Spine) and LMT Surgical. Have worked with Neurosurgeons, Spine Surgeons, Orthopaedic surgeons, Plastic surgeons and ENT surgeons selling and supporting implant procedures in theatre. More recently focused on selling specialised products for Pain Management working with Pain Specialists. Nick has recently expanded his sales focus to the Urology area, supporting FutureMed in growing our urology market share.

Ari Morton

Tas/VIC

Ari has more than twenty two years’ experience in the medical devices industry, working with both small and large global companies such as Matrix Surgical, Coloplast, B.Braun and Multigate Medical. Roles held include Territory Manager, National Sales & Marketing Manager, Sales Specialist and General Manager.

Ari has worked with General, Upper GI surgeons with Bariatric and laparoscopic products as well as Colorectal, Gynae, Urologists, Plastic, ENT and Orthopaedic surgeons. He has spent much time in the operating theatre working with Surgeons and theatre staff to improve patient outcomes and make life easier for the surgeons with innovative products and prostheses.

Having sold consumable, rebateable and capital equipment, Ari is very familiar with the process, dealing with procurement, theatre and hospital management to provide solutions for the Hospital’s needs.

Ari brings a wealth of experience to the FutureMed team and his commitment to both his customers and colleagues is exceptional.

George Moshonas

NSW

George has more than thirty years’ experience in the medical products industry, beginning his career as a Product Specialist for the Laryngeal Mask Airway and later working with synthetic bone substitutes and orthopaedic implants.

With a background in nursing, George has extensive experience supporting surgeons and theatre teams in the operating room. He has worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons and theatre staff, providing clinical support and assisting with procedures to help improve patient outcomes and ensure the effective use of surgical products.

During the COVID period, George worked as an Operating Theatre Assistant, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures and assisting both surgeons and nursing staff. He also developed an Australian patent focused on infection prevention through the use of surgical helmet systems in orthopaedic procedures such as total knee replacement (TKR) and total hip replacement (THR).

George has attended many medical conferences across Europe, the United States and Australia, supporting the companies and products he has represented.

George brings extensive clinical and industry experience to the FutureMed team and is committed to providing outstanding support and service to customers across New South Wales.

Brindley Buultjens

NSW

Brindley brings over 20 years of sales and business development experience to the FutureMed Global team, with deep expertise in endoscopy, medical device sales, and hospital engagement across New South Wales and nationally.

Brindley spent 13 years at Olympus Australia and New Zealand as Sales Specialist in Endotherapy and Senior Sales Executive, developing an exceptional understanding of endoscopic technologies and the clinical and procurement dynamics of both public and private hospitals. His Olympus tenure gave him extensive exposure to gastroenterology, urology, gynaecology, and surgical endoscopy, working closely with specialists, surgeons, and nursing staff across a wide range of procedural settings.

Following Olympus, Brindley served as National Business Development Manager for Endoscopy at CR Kennedy Medical Solutions, before moving to PENTAX Medical as Business Development Manager. Earlier in his career he worked as a Medical Representative at GSK and as an Investment Development Officer at JETRO, promoting trade and investment relations between Australia and Japan.

Brindley holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from the University of Sydney, and was awarded a Japanese Ministry of Education Exchange Scholarship to Kyoto University.

With deep clinical knowledge, strong relationships across the endoscopy community, and a proven track record in capital and consumable medical device sales, Brindley is a valuable addition to the FutureMed NSW team.

Neil Thomas

QLD

Neil brings over 25 years of experience across medical device sales, commercialisation, and business development to the FutureMed Global team, with a strong track record in navigating the complexities of the Australian public and private health systems.

Neil began his career in medical devices at Advanced Operating Room Technology, where he progressed from Territory Manager in Queensland to National Sales Manager over seven years. He then moved to Olympus Australia as a Sales Specialist in Surgical, before joining Oceania Orthopaedics as a founding member of the management team. Over nearly nine years he led sales, distribution management, and the TGA registration process for Implantcast GMBH's orthopaedic primary, revision, and oncology devices, and played a key role in introducing silver-coated implants to the Australian market.

More recently, Neil served as Director of Commercialisation at Wearable Health Tech, an Australian medtech advisory and distribution company focused on medical IoT and remote patient monitoring, before founding YOUmanity, an organisational consultancy specialising in helping healthcare companies navigate the commercial, structural, and behavioural barriers to market adoption.

Neil's deep understanding of how healthcare systems operate — from TGA registration and government rebate applications to KOL engagement and procurement — gives him a unique ability to support clinicians, hospitals, and procurement teams in evaluating and adopting new medical technologies.

Representing FutureMed in Queensland, Neil combines his commercialisation expertise and clinical relationships to deliver outstanding support to customers across the state.

Emech Medical is FutureMed Global’s trusted partner in New Zealand, bringing local expertise, customer support, and a strong track record in the healthcare sector. With decades of experience, Emech supports both public and private hospitals, ACC, learning institutions, dentists, rest homes, podiatrists, and healthcare providers across the country.

Specialising in the supply and hire of a wide range of medical and rehabilitation equipment, Emech ensures that clinicians and facilities have access to the right tools, whether for short- or long-term needs.
